SRI Records and SRI Jazz

SRI Jazz has just added an exciting and vibrant voice to the label with the addition of Jazz Chanteuse Janis Mann. 

A truly gifted performer in the vein of such greats as Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald, Mann’s ability to use her vocal instrument with great ease, along with her natural sense of how to interpret a lyric, makes her one of the stand-out jazz singers of our time.

Yanow characterizes Janis Mann as “A first class jazz singer!” and now this critically acclaimed artist has signed a multi-album deal with SRI Jazz. “I am very pleased to announce the signing of such true jazz vocalist” said label head and producer Shelly Liebowitz. “Janis is the kind of vocalist that I love to work with and she is a perfect fit for our label. The fact that we are both from New York doesn’t hurt either, we understand each other very well” added Liebowitz.
