Miss Peaches, Etta James, considered by many to
be the greatest female blues and rock singers of all time is captured
here live, and red hot she is!
Etta has been on the charts causing a stir ever since she had
her first smash hit with "Roll Me Henry" during the early
days of rock 'n roll in the 1950's. She may have had to change the lyrics
and tone them down on "Good Rockin' Daddy" but we knew exactly
what she was thinking and what she meant and luckily the censors left
her alone.
In 1960 Etta's career took a giant leap forward when she recorded
a jazz album which produced "All I Could Do Was Cry", "Stop
The Wedding" and other great recordings. Throughout most of the
1960's, Etta was the reigning queen of the blues. In the 1980's Etta
had chartbreaking hits with "I'd Rather Go Blind" and "I've
Found A Love".
Any fan of Etta James will tell you that no one is hotter in
live performance than this lady. We are pleased to be able to bring
you Miss Peaches in a rare, lost live performance. She really tears
the house down with such classics as "I'd Rather Go Blind",
"Dust Your Broom", "Can't Turn You Loose" and "Rock
Me Baby" but be warned - if you're faint of heart stay away from
this one. This is potent stuff and Etta let it all out to please her
fans for this live show!.
So pour yourself a stiff one and get ready for a real treat - the wild
and raunchy Etta James at her very best.
