SRI Records and SRI Jazz

Throughout her career Irene Kral had the respect of her peers including her favorite Carmen McRae but very little work.

After many years of work and recording, in 1974 she received her first of two Grammy® nominations. Finally better offers of work came her way. Sadly, Irene Kral died of cancer in 1978.

Throughout most of her career she was considered to jazzy for the general public but was always in favor with other jazz artists. Steve Allen was a big fan and he had her on his television show many times.

This is a classic CD - a peice of jazz history. If you love jazz, if you love great vocals - you need to own this CD!
